Change of Seasons in a Secret Garden

arrow-down
My photos are from 2013-2014 following the change of seasons and preserving the mysterious beauty of the park which is bordered by the triangle of Wesselényi, Nagydiófa and Dob streets in District 7, Budapest, and at that time was taken care of by the people who lived there. Few residents visited the garden so I loved to spend my time there discovering and documenting all its corners and surprises. Since then many of the plants were removed and roads were paved, so the charm of the park disappeared: in 2019 they opened it up for the public, and it is now named after the Hungarian children’s book author, Éva Janikovszky.
My photos were shot on film with a medium-format camera, Bronica ETRC.
